It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Isaiah Sheffer, the Founding Artistic Director of Symphony Space in New York City.
He shared his love of literature and performance to audiences at Symphony Space, on the radio, and online — all around the world.
He will be greatly missed: on Bloomsday, through the Selected Shorts season, and when we think of some of our favorite works and authors.
