sophiesmart: Extra!  Extra!  Tonight is World Book Night! Huh?  What?  Who? “Good heavens!” you’re saying to yourself, “What possible need could there be for such a thing as World Book Night?  Are those ghastly rumors true?  Have people stopped reading books in favor of things like Facebook, Angry Birds, and Keeping Up With The Kardashians?  Say it ain’t so!” You should probably sit down and breathe into a paper bag. Because despite the fact that you’re clearly out of touch, the good news is World Book Night is awesome.  (Even if their website is just absolutely horrid). There are some pretty fantastic books this year, like Just Kids by Patti Smith, The History of Love by Nicole Krauss, Kindred by Octavia Butler, and 27 others. (Source: The Stylist)
